Babar Azam’s T20 Franchise League Career

Babar Azam is counted amongst the finest batters of the current generation, given his remarkable exploits across all three formats. The Pakistan star is especially known for his incredible consistency in white-ball cricket.

Babar has scored 6626 runs in ODIs at a phenomenal average of 53.43 with 20 centuries and 30 fifties. On the other hand, he’s the all-time highest run scorer in T20Is with 4596 runs from 136 innings with three hundreds and 39 fifties.

Given his sensational record in T20Is, Babar Azam is also one of the most sought-after players in the T20 circuit and is often seen playing in the top franchise T20 leagues across the world. 

He’s the most prolific run-scorer in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) history, having scored 4380 runs from 109 innings at an average of 47.09 and a strike rate of 129.70 with four hundreds and 39 fifties.

Apart from the PSL, Babar has plied his trade in various other T20 leagues of the world, namely Big Bash League (BBL) in Australia, the Bangladesh Premier League, Lanka Premier League, Caribbean Premier League, among others.

He has also registered his name for the ILT20 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and will likely make his debut in the upcoming season.
