Delhi Capitals (DC) are on the brink of elimination. But they can certainly spoil Rajasthan Royals' chances of qualifying for the IPL 2026 playoffs, when the two sides meet at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on May 17.

Delhi have secured just 10 points with five wins and seven losses after 12 games. They can reach a maximum of 14 points if they win both their remaining fixtures. However, that won't guarantee them a spot in the playoffs as several other teams can surpass their tally. The Axar Patel-led side will have to rely on other results to go their way to ensure a berth in the playoffs.

Rajasthan, meanwhile, are much more comfortably placed with 12 points after 11 matches. Three wins in as many games will take them to 18, but they'll still require any two of RCB, GT, PBKS, SRH and CSK to drop points, and it may also come down to the net run rate (NRR).
