Most T20 centuries in men's cricket

Scoring the most hundreds in men's T20 cricket is a feat any batter would be proud to have on their résumé. West Indies legend Chris Gayle sits comfortably atop that list with 22 centuries, leaving a significant gap over the next-best batter.

Pakistan's Babar Azam sits second with 13 T20 hundreds. Babar is a huge name in the Pakistan Super League and led his team Peshawar Zalmi to the title in the 2026 season.

Gayle's T20 numbers are staggering. Across 463 matches, he amassed 14,562 runs at an average of 36.22 and a phenomenal strike rate of 144.75. He also registered 88 fifties in the format, underlining his remarkable consistency alongside his explosive power.

The Jamaican left-hander was a true T20 globetrotter, featuring in leagues around the world, including the Indian Premier League (IPL), Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Pakistan Super League, Mzansi Super League, T20 Blast and the Champions League T20 (CLT20), among others.

Gayle also holds the prominent record for the highest ever individual score recorded in the history of the Indian Premier League. He struck an unbeaten 175 off just 66 deliveries representing Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) against Pune Warriors in IPL 2013.

India's blistering T20I opener, Abhishek Sharma, is also on the rise. The elegant left-hander has already struck 11 centuries in the shortest format.

Former India captain Virat Kohli, ex-South Africa skipper Quinton de Kock and Australia's erstwhile opener David Warner are tied with 10 hundreds each.
