Shadab Khan produced the innings of his career as Pakistan chased down 242 against England in the ongoing tri-series after being reduced to nine for 154 in 33.5 overs. Shadab scored his maiden ODI ton and became the first batter to score a hundred batting at No. 8 or lower in a successful run chase in the format.
He stitched an unbeaten 89-run partnership with Haris Rauf, which is the highest in a successful run chase in ODI cricket.
England threw everything they had in their arsenal at Shadab and Haris, but the Pakistan pair had an answer for everything. Rauf finished the game with a boundary down the ground off England's debutant, Henry Crocombe, as Pakistan won with 17 balls to spare.
