However, there have been a few sides in world cricket that have displayed remarkable consistency and won several games on the bounce, forging an enviable streak. #1 Afghanistan and India (12 matches)

Afghanistan hold the record for the joint-longest winning streak in men's T20Is, stretching 12 games. Their streak began with a five-wicket win over Zimbabwe in Sharjah on Feb 5, 2018. They then registered wins over Ireland and Bangladesh before Zimbabwe beat them in Chattogram by seven wickets on September 20, 2019, to put an end to the streak.

India jointly hold the record for the longest winning streak in men's T20Is alongside Afghanistan. The Men in Blue's 12-match-long invincible run began at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021 - a tournament they wouldn't want to remember fondly. After losing to Pakistan and New Zealand, India defeated Afghanistan, Scotland and Namibia on the trot to sow the seeds of their memorable streak.

South Africa denied India their 13th consecutive win as they beat them by seven wickets at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on June 9, 2022.

#2 Pakistan, New Zealand and Australia (9 matches)

Pakistan, New Zealand and Australia jointly hold the No. 2 spot on the list, having won nine T20Is without dropping a single game. 

The Green Brigade kickstarted their streak with a seven-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in a T20I tri-series involving Australia on July 4, 2018. It ended with a nail-biting six-run loss to South Africa in Cape Town on February 1, 2019.

Meanwhile, New Zealand's nine-match-long winning streak began with a 31-run win over Ireland in Belfast on July 18, 2022. It came to a screeching halt against West Indies in Kingston on August 14, 2022, as they got hammered by eight wickets.

On the other hand, Australia's nine-match-long chain got underway with a 29-run win over Pakistan in Brisbane on November 14, 2024. It was brought to a halt by South Africa, who defeated them by 53 runs at the Marrara Cricket Ground in Darwin on August 12, 2025.
