India's unwanted records from the England Tour

India’s horrendous tour to England finally ended after the third ODI at Lord’s, where the Men in Blue lost by 27 runs. As a result, the Asian Giants failed to win both the T20I and ODI series in the UK, making it one of their worst overseas tours in recent times.

India came into the tour having faced a minor blip in an otherwise golden run in white-ball cricket as they went down 0-2 for the first time in a T20I bilateral series against Ireland. Things only went downhill for the World Champions as they were further crushed 0- 4 in T20Is against England, followed by a 1-2 loss in the ODIs.

As India’s forgettable tour comes to an end, here are some unwanted records registered by them on the tour:

125 – India registered their heaviest defeat in T20Is during the third match in Nottingham, losing by 125 runs.

76 – India registered their second-lowest T20I total, getting all out for 76, chasing 202 during the third match in Nottingham.

2 – For the first time since 2019, India lost back-to-back T20I series.

1 – India lost their first-ever bilateral series against England in any format since 2018.

7 – India registered their longest winless streak in T20Is.

257 – India conceded their highest score in T20Is, during the fifth T20I in Southampton as England posted a humongous score of 257/3 in their allotted 20 overs.

233 – India conceded their highest partnership in T20Is as Harry Brook & Jos Buttler added 233 runs off 102 balls for the 2^nd wicket in Southampton 2026.

131- Jos Buttler achieved the highest T20I score against India, scoring 131 (64).

1 – India were dethroned from the number one spot in T20Is as England overtook them after inflicting a crushing series win.

2 – For the first time since 2019, India lost back-to-back ODIs against England.

3 – India lost 3 back-to-back multi-game bilateral ODI series away from home for the first time since 1997.
