Scoring a century is one of the biggest milestones for a batter in international cricket. It’s the dream of every player to score a match-winning hundred and take his team to victory. However, in the rich history of the game, there have also been a few players who couldn’t cross the 100-run mark throughout their careers.

These players fell agonisingly short of the milestone, consistently crossing the 50-run mark without ever converting one of those innings into three figures. Here are the top three players with the most 50+ scores in men's international cricket without scoring a century:

1. Scott Edwards

The former Netherlands captain Scott Edwards tops the list with 26 scores of 50 or more in his career, without a century. Edwards made his international debut during a T20I against Ireland in June, 2018.

He has accumulated 3,707 runs from 147 innings at an average of 31.95, with his highest score being 99 (55) in a T20I against Oman in November 2024.

2. Chamu Chibhabha

Zimbabwe's Chamu Chibhabha occupies second place with 22 50+ scores to his name without ever scoring a century. He made his debut in August 2005, during an ODI against New Zealand in Harare.

Across 154 innings, Chibhabha scored 3,316 runs at an average of 21.81, with a highest score of 99 (100), during an ODI against Pakistan in May, 2015.

3. Collins Obuya

Kenya legend Collins Obuya completes the top three with 20 scores of 50 or more. Obuya was an integral part of his national team during the country's strongest period on the international stage.

He made his debut during an ODI against West Indies in August, 2001. Obuya scored 3,786 runs in 159 innings at an average of 27.43, with his highest score being 98* (129) in an ODI against Australia in March, 2011.
