Australia name playing XI for Mackay Test, make solitary change

Australia have confirmed that Matt Renshaw will partner Travis Head as the second opener for the Mackay Test as Australia aim to bounce back from a 1-0 deficit. Renshaw's last Test appearance came against India during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi in February, 2023.
The southpaw has played 14 Tests and aggregated 645 runs at an average of 29.31, including a hundred and three fifties. Renshaw's inclusion is the only change the hosts have made to the playing XI, which featured in the Test series opener at the Marrara Cricket Ground in Darwin.
