Bangladesh unveiled their squad for the first two ODIs of the three-match series against Australia beginning on June 9. The selection committee have retained most of the members from the team that recently beat New Zealand 2-1 in a series.
Captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz continues to lead a settled unit, which also has a couple of notable returns for the upcoming series. Mosaddek Hossain marks his comeback to the ODI setup after nearly four years, having last represented Bangladesh in the 50-over format back in August 2022.

On the other hand, wicketkeeper-batter Quazi Nurul Hasan also returns after missing the New Zealand series. Bangladesh will continue to field a robust pace attack featuring Nahid Rana, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman and Shoriful Islam. Rana was adjudged Player of the Series after 2-1 series victory over New Zealand, claiming eight wickets, including his second five-wicket haul in ODIs during the second match.
