Cricket Australia announces blockbuster home schedule for 2026-27 season

Cricket Australia (CA) has announced the schedule for the men's and women's teams for the 2026-27 home season.
The 2026-27 home season for Australia will begin with the Pat Cummins-led side hosting a two-match Test series against Bangladesh in August. The Australian women's cricket team's home season will kick off in October as they will play hosts to Bangladesh for a white-ball tour, involving three ODIs and as many T20Is to be played at the Allan Border Field and North Sydney Oval.
The departure of the Bangladesh women will bring England to the Australian shores for a three-match ODI and a five-match T20I series, spread across November and the first week of December. Australia's Trans-Tasman rivals will then set foot in the country for a four-match Test series, starting December 9, whereas the White Ferns will arrive in February 2027 for a white-ball series comprising three T20Is and as many ODIs.
The blockbuster home season will come to a conclusion with the historic 150th Anniversary Test between Australia and England at the MCG in March next year.
