New Zealand will tour Bangladesh for three ODIs and T20Is each from April 17 to May 2 with Dhaka and Chattogram to host all the six white-ball matches. The tour will commence with the ODI series, the first two matches of which will be played in Dhaka (Mirpur) and the last one in Chattogram.

The T20I series will begin from Chattogram itself where the teams will be based after the third ODI. The first two matches will be held at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium while the final 20-over game will be played in Dhaka (Mirpur).

New Zealand are currently involved in a five-match T20I series against South Africa at home. The Kiwis were hammered in the first match by the Proteas who bowled them out in the first innings for a mere 91. The visitors completed the chase with seven wickets in hand to take a 1-0 lead in the series. As a matter of fact, the upcoming Bangladesh series will be the Kiwis' next T20I assignment.

Prior to the ongoing series, New Zealand had a great run at the T20 World Cup 2026, finishing as the finalists. The BlackCaps thundered into the all-important final on the back of Finn Allen's record-breaking 33-ball ton, but produced a meek performance in the final against India losing it by 96 runs.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, recently concluded their three-match ODI series against Pakistan, winning it by a 2-1 margin. The series was Bangladesh's first after the nation missed out on participating in the T20 World Cup.
