Esha Oza to lead as UAE announce squad for ACC Women's Asia Cup 2026

Esha Oza will lead United Arab Emirates' 15-player squad for the ACC Women's Asia Cup 2026 edition, which will be held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium (DICS) from August 28 to September 13. UAE are part of Group B alongside Indonesia, Bangladesh and the defending champions Sri Lanka.

Oza is one of the most experienced players in the squad. In 117 WT20Is, Oza has aggregated 3403 runs at an average of 34.72 and a strike rate of 119.69 with the help of five centuries and 14 fifties.

Oza has a rich vein of experience as captain. She holds the record for playing the most matches (54) as captain for UAE in T20Is. Oza has won 37 matches and lost 17 with a win percentage of 68.51%.
