Notably, Vaishnavi had finished the series against Sri Lanka as the joint-leading wicket-taker alongside Deepti Sharma with five scalps at an average of 23.80 and an economy rate of 6.26. She was the leading wicket-taker at the ICC Women's U19 T20 World Cup in 2024 with 17 wickets at an average of 4.35 and an economy rate of 3.36.
Mumbai Indians look to revive dwindling campaign
Mumbai Indians are looking to revive their dwindling campaign in search of a spot in the playoffs. They won two consecutive games against Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Giants before losing their campaign opener to RCB. However, with two successive losses against UP Warriorz, Mumbai have lost that momentum yet again.
The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side has aggregated four points after five games with two wins and three losses. They are second on the points table behind RCB, who have already cemented their place in the playoffs.
Mumbai will face Delhi in the 13th match of the season on January 20 at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara.
