India and Pakistan will meet each other in the T20 World Cup 2026 at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday, February 15. After all the off-field developments, the game is all set to go ahead.

Leading up to it, both India and Pakistan have had scratchy wins in their respective first game. Netherlands almost pulled off a win against the Men in Green in the very first game of the tournament while India found themselves in a spot of bother at one stage against the USA.

Pakistan won their second game against the Americans convincingly by 32 runs while India, too, beat Namibia with a huge margin of 93 runs. As far as the team news is concerned, Abhishek Sharma has recovered from the stomach bug which saw him miss the Namibia game and will be featuring in tomorrow's game. Jasprit Bumrah, who was also out of the first game against the USA due to a minor illness, came back in the previous game and has no reasons to not play the high-voltage clash.

For Pakistan, no injury concerns are there and the team has had enough time to rest ever since their last match on February 10. On the whole, the teams are set to take the field with their best possible XIs come Sunday evening. But, there is one threat to the whole affair - rain. The weather forecast indicates thunderstorms in the afternoon followed by cloudy overhead conditions till late evening. Therefore, there is a likelihood of a delay at some stage, and if not a full match, a truncated one at least is possible.
