Bangladesh will host India for six white-ball games – three ODIs and T20Is each – in August-September 2026, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed on January 2.
The series was to be played from August 17 to 31 last year but was called off indefinitely following a mutual agreement between the BCCI and BCB, “taking into account the international cricketing commitments and scheduling convenience of both teams.”

As it stands, India will reach Bangladesh on August 28, and the series will start with the ODIs. The fixtures are scheduled for September 1, 3, and 6 and will be followed by the T20Is on September 9, 12, and 13.
"The series that was postponed earlier between Bangladesh and India has been rescheduled," Shahriar Nafees, BCB cricket operations in-charge, told Cricbuzz.
Bangladesh's home international schedule 2026
The BCB released Bangladesh’s home schedule for the 2026 season, with bilateral series against Pakistan, New Zealand, India, Australia, and the West Indies across the three formats.
"The confirmed itinerary ensures a season full of international cricket in Bangladesh, providing supporters across the country the opportunity to watch top-level cricket at home, while details of match venues will be announced in due course," BCB said in a statement.
Pakistan will tour Bangladesh for three ODIs from March 12 to 16, followed by the white-ball series against New Zealand. Bangladesh will host New Zealand for three ODIs and T20Is each, with the series starting on April 17 with ODIs and concluding on May 2.
Pakistan will then return for a two-Test series, which will be a part of the ongoing World Test Championship cycle. The first Test will be played from May 8 to 12, followed by the second from May 16 to 20.
Following that, Australia will tour for a white-ball series, including three ODIs and as many T20Is. The series will commence with the first ODI on June 5, while the three T20Is will be held from June 15 to 20.
After the series against India, Bangladesh will host West Indies for two WTC Tests, set to be played from October 28 to November 1 (first) and November 5 to 9 (second). The series will be preceded by a three-day warm-up match, to be played from October 22 to 24.
