England's men's Test team, under the supreme leadership of Ben Stokes and the tutelage of head coach Brendon McCullum, has polarized opinions like no other unit has in the last decade. With McCullum at the helm, the Three Lions have adopted his notion of an ultra-aggressive approach, and while it has produced some remarkable results, the methodology has also led to their undoing on several occasions.
Currently, Bazball is facing its biggest litmus test in the form of the Ashes on Australian shores. Having lost in Perth and Brisbane, the Three Lions have their backs against the wall, and many pundits and former cricketers have begun raising question marks on the sustainability of Bazball.

However, not everyone who loves England cricket has lost hope in the current team management, and the 2019 ODI World Cup-winning captain Eoin Morgan shared an excerpt from a humorous conversation he had with a friend on Bazball.
"This isn't me talking, I thought it was very funny. He (his friend) is a die-hard cricket fan, England fan, and he said, following the England team in Australia is like watching the Titanic film and cheering for the boat. I will cheer for that boat every time watching this team play. I absolutely love it," Morgan said at the launch of the Mr Cricket UAE media house at the Taj Exotica in Dubai on December 17.
Notably, England adopted similar assertiveness under Morgan after their unceremonious exit from the 2015 World Cup, following a loss to Bangladesh. Crestfallen after the defeat, Morgan infused motivation into his players and made everyone subscribe to his conviction. Four years later, he led his side to redemption as England clinched their maiden ODI World Cup title.
