MI Emirates appoint Mark Boucher as head coach ahead of DP World ILT20 2026

MI Emirates are set to begin their DP World ILT20 2026 campaign with a new man at the helm after appointing Mark Boucher as head coach.
Boucher returns to the MI setup, having previously served as Mumbai Indians' head coach in 2023 and 2024 before taking charge of MI New York in Major League Cricket (MLC). He guided MI New York to the MLC title in 2025.
Boucher replaces Robin Singh, who had been part of the Mumbai Indians setup since 2010. Robin was also the head coach of MI Emirates when they clinched their maiden ILT20 title in February 2024.
MI Emirates head into the upcoming ILT20 auction with the largest remaining purse of any franchise at USD 1,390,000.

Current squad: Four players from ICC Full Member nations
Yet to sign: Four UAE players, seven players from ICC Full Member nations, one player from an ICC Associate Member nation, one player from Kuwait and one player from Saudi Arabia.
