Slow left-arm orthodox bowler Jayden Lennox has earned a maiden call-up as New Zealand have announced their squads for the white-ball series against India, starting January 11.
Spin-bowling allrounder Michael Bracewell has been named as captain of the ODI squad in the absence of Mitchell Santner, who continues to recover from a groin injury. Santner will return to lead the side in T20Is.

Former captain Kane Williamson was unavailable for selection as he will be representing Durban's Supergiants in the upcoming edition of the SA20. Blair Tickner, Nathan Smith, and William O'Rourke have not been selected as they continue to recuperate from their shoulder, side, and back injuries, respectively.
Therefore, Zak Foulkes and Kyle Jamieson, who have been named in both white-ball squads, will be expected to shoulder the burden of the fast bowling attack.
The three-match ODI series will get underway on January 11 at Vadodara's Kotambi Stadium, whereas the five-match T20I series will begin on January 21 at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha in Nagpur.
