India’s rise in women’s cricket reached its pinnacle with the ODI World Cup 2025 triumph, but Pakistan, though not yet at the same stature, have steadily raised their standards with every outing. Over the years, Pakistan have produced several outstanding bowlers, some of whom have consistently posed problems for India in the shortest format of the game.

As the two sides prepare for their ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 clash at Edgbaston, here’s a look at three Pakistan bowlers who have troubled India the most in Women’s T20Is.

1. Nida Dar

At the top of this elite list is Nida Dar, Pakistan’s seasoned bowling allrounder. She has claimed 10 wickets in 13 T20Is against India, averaging 21.7 runs per wicket with an excellent economy rate of 5.58.

Her best figures of 3/12 remain etched in Pakistan’s cricketing history, as it guided the team to a famous one‑run win over India in the 2012 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

2. Sana Mir

Former Pakistan captain Sana Mir ranks second. In 11 T20Is against India, she picked up nine wickets, with a best of 4/13 in the final of the 2012 Women’s Asia Cup. Although her efforts weren’t enough to secure victory, her spell showcased her ability to trouble India’s batting lineup.

Her wickets came at an average of 24.00 and an economy rate of 5.02, underlining her consistency against India.

3. Nashra Sandhu

Slow left‑arm orthodox bowler Nashra Sandhu completes the trio. A current member of Pakistan’s T20 World Cup squad, she has already made her mark with seven wickets in five India‑Pakistan encounters.

Her best performance of 3/30 came in the 2022 Women’s Asia Cup in Sylhet, helping Pakistan register their third win over India in T20Is. Sandhu boasts an economy rate of 5.31 against India, making her a key threat once again as the teams meet at Edgbaston.
