Netherlands announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in England and Wales on Wednesday, May 6. It will be a debut appearance for the Dutch nation in the women’s T20 extravaganza. They secured their qualification after registering three wins in as many matches during the Super Six stage of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Global Qualifiers.

Babette de Leede will be leading the squad, which will also play a tri-series against Bangladesh and hosts Scotland ahead of the World Cup. Only two changes have been made to the World Cup squad from the team that played the Qualifier in January-February. Wicketkeeper-batter Rosalie Lawrence and bowling allrounder Lara Leemhuis are the new additions.

Netherlands are one of four teams to make it through to the main event after competing in the Qualifier. Ahead of their historic debut, head coach Neil MacRae has full faith in the team to continue their good performances from the ICC World Cup Qualifying Tournaments and the ICC Emerging Nations Tournament.

“The Netherlands have selected a World Cup Squad which blends youth and experience in a squad which has performed consistently well during ICC World Cup Qualifying Tournaments and the ICC Emerging Nations Tournament in the past twelve months. The players are looking forward to an exciting group and the opportunity to compete with the top ICC nations,” Neil MacRae was quoted as saying by ICC.
