Pakistan have hit the reset button in 50-overs cricket and named their 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Bangladesh. The PCB has named as many as six uncapped players in the squad for the three-match tour of Bangladesh and sidelined several big names.
Sahibzada Farhan has been rewarded for his impressive outing at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup and is one of the six uncapped players, alongside batting allrounder Maaz Sadaqat, who was the star of the show for Pakistan during their high-voltage meeting with India A at the ACC Men's Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament in November last year.

Abdul Samad, Muhammad Ghazi Ghori, Saad Masood, and Shamyl Hussain are the other four uncapped members.
Meanwhile, several high-profile names, including former captain Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Saim Ayub, Mohammad Nawaz, Shadab Khan, Naseem Shah, and Fakhar Zaman have not been picked for the tour.
The announcement comes in the aftermath of Pakistan's underwhelming performance at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, which saw them register a Super Eight-exit. They needed to restrict the co-hosts, Sri Lanka, to 147 or fewer in their final Super Eight fixture to qualify for the semifinals, but a lackluster bowling display saw them get over the line by just five runs in the end.
The PCB recently fined all the T20 World Cup squad members PKR 5 million (US$ 18,000 approx.) each for what it deemed was a below-par performance.
