UAE announce squad for ICC CWC League 2 tri-series against Scotland and Canada

Batter Harpreet Singh Bhatia will lead UAE’s Men’s National Team on their tour of Jersey and Scotland (ICC CWC League 2 tri-series). The 15-member squad will leave for Jersey on Saturday, July 25, where they will play two 50-over warm-up matches against the hosts on Monday, 27 July and Wednesday, 29 July at the NCC Grainville.

The team will then travel to Scotland for the ICC CWC League 2 tri-series, where the hosts Scotland and Canada are the other two participants. The UAE squad will play a practice match against Scotland A on Friday, 31 July. Their opening tri-series fixture is against Scotland, which will be played on Monday, 3 August. They will then take on Canada on Wednesday, 5 August. 

UAE’s third match of their four tri-series matches will be played on Sunday, 9 August; the team will take on the hosts. The fourth and final match of the tri-series is against Canada – Tuesday, 11 August.

All ICC CWC League 2 fixtures will be played at Forfarshire CC, Dundee. The matches will begin at 11:00 am local time.
