Virat Kohli has trumped compatriot Rohit Sharma to reclaim the No.1 spot in the latest ICC Men's ODI batting rankings. Virat now has 785 rating points, whereas Rohit has slipped to the number three spot with 775 rating points.
A 91-ball 93 in the first ODI between India and New Zealand at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara has catapulted Kohli to the top. He was also awarded the Player of the Match (POTM) for his stellar knock. On the contrary, Rohit couldn't make the most out of his start and got out for a 29-ball 26, and he has now slipped two places to the third spot.

New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell has also been rewarded for his impressive 84-run knock in the same game. He has now moved one place to the second spot. He currently has 784 rating points and is only a solitary point behind Virat.
India's ODI skipper Shubman Gill and vice-captain Shreyas Iyer are the two other Indians in the top 10 rankings. Gill is fifth with 725 ratings, and Iyer is 10th with 682 ratings.
