Thailand, Hong Kong, the UAE and Indonesia have qualified for the women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026 after winning their respective quarter-finals with ease at the ACC Women's Premier Cup. All four teams had previously topped their respective groups and continued their rich form in the tournament.
Thailand continued their unbeaten run in the tournament by defeating Nepal by 56 runs in the first quarter-final in Kuala Lumpur. Wicketkeeper-batter Nannapat Koncharoenkai anchored the innings with a crucial 62 (51) as Thailand posted 130 for 4 before restricting Nepal to 74 for 7.

In the third quarter-final, also played in Kuala Lumpur, the UAE registered a comfortable 52-run victory over Malaysia. Opener Theertha Satish starred with an unbeaten 65 off 53 balls to guide her side to 138 for 2, while the bowlers ensured Malaysia never threatened the target, limiting them to 86 for 5.
The second and fourth quarter-finals were held in Bangi, where Hong Kong and Indonesia booked their semi-final spots with convincing wins. Hong Kong defeated Japan by 41 runs, thanks to Yasmin Daswani's unbeaten 55 off 36 deliveries. With the ball, Maryam Bibi (3 for 17) and Marina Lamplough (2 for 11) shared five wickets to seal the victory.
Indonesia beat Oman by 113 runs
Indonesia produced the most dominant performance of the round, thrashing Oman by 113 runs. Captain Ni Putu Ayu Nanda Sakarini led from the front with 51 (49) to power her side to 137 for 7 before Oman were bundled out for just 24 in 11.5 overs. Ni Made Putri Suwandewi starred with the ball, claiming 4 for 11.
Meanwhile, the semi-final line-up is now set, with Thailand set to take on Indonesia and Hong Kong to face the UAE in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, June 12. The dates and full schedule for the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 are yet to be announced.
