WPL 2027 Auction: Team-Wise Retained and Released Players List

All five franchises of the Women's Premier League (WPL) have announced their respective lists of retained players ahead of the 2027 auction. The auction will be held at the Grand Hyatt Kochi on October 28 and will serve as an opportunity for all five outfits to bolster their strengths.
The defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have retained Australia's veteran allrounder Ellyse Perry, who had made himself unavailable for the previous edition. They have let go of England's left-arm off-spinner Linsey Smith and Australia's power-hitter Grace Harris.
The runners-up of the 2026 season and two-time winners, Mumbai Indians, have released Gunalan Kamalini, who was a part of the Asia Cup and Asian Games contingent.
