Match Preview
After being completely dominated by Australia in the series opener, India will look to level the rubber as the two teams once again lock horns in the second ODI on Friday, February 27, at Bellerive Oval in Hobart. India were completely outplayed in the first ODI as, after being put in to bat first, they were bundled out for 214.
Later in the second innings, Australia comfortably chased down the target in 38.2 overs and registered a massive win. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side has finally begun their World Champions era after the historic triumph on home soil in November.

However, after a crushing defeat in Brisbane, they have their back against the wall. They need to quickly recover and put their best foot forward in the second match to save the series. India have never been able to beat Australia in a bilateral ODI series, and Harmanpreet Kaur’s side won’t let the opportunity slip away again in the upcoming fixture.
On the other hand, Australia are just one step away from sealing the series and give a winning farewell to their captain Alyssa Healy from ODI cricket. The Aussies will once again come hard at India, eager to pull off another dominating performance.
