England and Sri Lanka will lock horns in the third and final T20I of the series on Saturday, September 19 at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester. England have already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series, following a six-wicket win in the second T20I.

Sri Lanka’s performances have been dismal in the series so far as they leaked 254 runs in the series opener and later were restricted to 145 in the second fixture. They have now lost 14 T20Is on the trot against the Three Lions and will be desperate to end their drought in the upcoming fixture.

On the other hand, England will be eyeing a whitewash, with a chance of taking the top spot in the T20I rankings, which they currently share with India.

Players to watch out for in ENG vs SL:

Harry Brook (ENG):

The England captain scored a breathtaking century in the series opener, playing a spectacular knock of 114* (49) with the help of ten fours and six sixes. He got dismissed for 23 (8) in the second fixture and will be eager to end the series on a high with another sensational knock.

Wanindu Hasaranga (SL):

The wrist-spinner hasn’t had a memorable series so far, having picked up just two wickets in as many matches so far. Hasaranga has been taken to the cleaners so far and will have to bring his A game to the fore to save his team from a whitewash.
