Match Preview
New Zealand (NZ) and South Africa (SA) head into the fourth T20I of the five-match series at the Sky Stadium in Wellington on Sunday, March 22.
After two contrasting games, the third encounter in Auckland saw the home team dismantle the Proteas batting line-up and register a comfortable eight-wicket victory. New Zealand lead the series 2-1 and one more win will give them their first series victory against South Africa in this format.

For the next two matches, the BlackCaps have rested a number of their players who were a part of the T20 World Cup as well as this series. Mitchell Santner, Lockie Ferguson, and Devon Conway are the three star players who would not be a part of the remainder. Hence, Tom Latham is expected to take over the captaincy duties from Santner while Katene Clark and Zak Foulkes are likely to make the XI.
For South Africa, Baartman might come in, in place of Lutho Sipamla who was expensive in the previous match. As for the weather, there is no chance of rain but it will likely be windy and cool.

NZ vs SA: Players to watch out for
Tom Latham (NZ):
Latham is the second-highest run-scorer (81) in the series and the left-hander played a sound innings of unbeaten 63 runs in the previous match. The batter is in good nick and stroking the ball well. Despite the added responsibility of leadership for the next two matches, the 33-year-old is still expected to come good.
Nqobani Mokoena (SA):
The 19-year-old played a fantastic cameo of unbeaten 26 runs after coming in at number 10. Playing just his third match at this level, Mokoena impressed with his strokes and temperament. The team management might be tempted to promote him up the order in the next two games. On the other hand, the right-arm pacer picked up a three-fer in his first match and is a threat to the opposition with the ball nonetheless.
