Bhuvneshwar Kumar is one of the fittest fast bowlers that India has produced in recent times. The man from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, has not missed a single IPL season since 2010 with injuries or any other fitness issues.
The right-arm pacer's IPL journey began in 2010 when he was signed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (then Royal Challengers Bangalore) for INR 6 lakhs. He was picked up by Pune Warriors India (PWI) in 2011 for INR 20 lakhs. Bhuvneshwar played three seasons (2011, 2012 and 2013) for PWI, claiming 24 wickets in 31 games.

His annual IPL earnings saw an exponential jump of 2025% when Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) paid a sum of INR 4.25 crore to rope him in at the 2014 auction. Bhuvneshwar's bond with SRH lasted for 11 long years. He snared 157 wickets in 145 games for the franchise during that course of time. Two years out of SRH already, he is still the leading wicket-taker for the franchise, with Rashid Khan, a distant second with 93 poles.
Bhuvneshwar's wickets at SRH came at an average of 26.81 and an economy rate of 7.72, including two five-wicket hauls. He made a return at Royal Challengers Bengaluru again when they bought him for INR 10.75 crore at the IPL 2025 auction.
