Pat Cummins IPL Salary: Year-wise earnings from 2014 to 2026

A reliable fast bowler and captain par excellence, Pat Cummins, is one of the game's global ambassadors. Cummins has already won an ODI World Cup trophy and the Ashes as captain. Therefore, there isn't much left for him to prove as a leader.

Cummins is also one of the biggest star attractions in the Indian Premier League (IPL). His maiden IPL stint came in 2014 after he was signed by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for INR 1 crore at the auction. The right-arm speedster bagged two wickets for KKR in four games in 2014 and the 2015 seasons before he was released.

After missing the 2016 season, Delhi Capitals (then Delhi Daredevils) acquired his services for INR 4.50 crore at the 2017 IPL auction. The Sydney-born played 12 games for Delhi in the 2017 season, claiming 15 wickets at an average of 24.86 and an economy rate of 8.07.

Despite such an impressive effort, Delhi released him ahead of IPL 2018. Cummins received a paycheck of INR 5.40 crore at the 2018 auction from Mumbai Indians (MI). But he couldn't render his services after a bone oedema in his vertebrae ruled him out of the entire season. He was subsequently released.

Cummins attracted a big paycheck from KKR at the 2020 auction after they decided to invest in his growing potential. KKR paid INR 15.50 crore at the auction to rope in the Aussie. He played for KKR until 2022 and was released subsequently.

He drew the eyeballs of Sunrisers Hyderabad at the 2024 auction, and that marked the start of a new chapter in his IPL career. Cummins fetched a paycheck of INR 20.50 crore and was named the captain of SRH as the season rolled on. He was retained by the franchise for INR 18 crore for the 2026 season.
