Sai Sudharsan is a young talent from Tamil Nadu who has taken the domestic and IPL circuits by storm in the last half a decade or so. The left-hand opening batter has amassed runs for his state team and Gujarat Titans ever since he came into the limelight in TNPL 2021. The batter finished as the second-highest run-scorer for Lyca Kovai Kings that season and it opened the doors for him into domestic and IPL cricket.
The first IPL season, 2022, was a decent one for the youngster with 145 runs in five innings including an unbeaten 65. But the next season onwards, Sudharsan began producing great impact to his team's chances with loads of runs and an increasing strike rate.

In 2023, the southpaw scored 362 runs in eight innings which included three fifties. Notably, Sudharsan scored 96 off 47 balls in the final against CSK which brought the batter into the spotlight and boosted his stocks.
IPL 2024 was even better in terms of runs tally, but the TN batter's average and strike rate witnessed a slight drop. In all, Sudharsan scored 527 runs - the most by a GT player that season - and recorded his maiden IPL hundred against CSK.
IPL 2025 has been the batter's best season, amassing 759 runs in 15 innings at an average of 54.21 and a strike rate of 156.17. Significantly, Sudharsan finished as the highest run-scorer of the season, thereby clinching the Orange Cap in just his fourth season.
The 24-year-old has become an irreplaceable member of the GT line-up and begun the 2026 season on the same lines. Sudharsan a crucial knock of 73 off 44 balls against Rajasthan Royals in the team's second match albeit in a losing cause.
