IPL 2026: GT vs CSK, Match 66 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad – Stats & player battles to watch

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have landed themselves in a whole heap of trouble as their IPL 2026 playoff chances are very slim. They have to hope that Rajasthan Royals (RR) lose their last league stage game against Mumbai Indians (MI) at Wankhede on May 24 and that Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who are currently on 11 points with two games left, do not collect more than 13 points.

But before any of that happens, they have to first beat Gujarat Titans (GT), which, unfortunately for them, is at the Narendra Modi Stadium. CSK are one of the most average travelling sides this season, with just two wins in six away games. Therefore, they have to play out of their skins to get a result in their favour against a strong Titans side.

While Titans have already qualified for the playoffs, there is still a lot riding on this clash against CSK for them. A win over CSK won't guarantee, but it would certainly bolster their chances of finishing in the top two and earning themselves an extra opportunity to fail in the playoffs, if they indeed stumble.
