Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will look to inject some momentum into their Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026) campaign as they take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Thursday, April 2. The Ajinkya Rahane-led side didn’t get off to a memorable start to the season, losing the opening fixture by six wickets against Mumbai Indians (MI).

KKR posted a massive score of 220 in their allotted 20 overs, but just didn’t have the bowling arsenal to defend that. Hence, they will have a lot of questions to answer in the upcoming fixture as they return to their home ground, the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
