The Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026) has been a roller coaster ride so far, as fans have witnessed several entertaining fixtures in the season. The ongoing edition is being held across 13 venues, serving top-class cricketing action to people from all over the country.
In a two-month tournament, held across multiple venues, teams have to adapt to different conditions as the schedule continues to take them from one city to another. Coaches and support staff spend hours strategising for each ground, months before the tournament starts.

However, despite all the planning, the results don’t often come in their favour as some grounds continue to be fully dependent on toss and other factors. Here are three most one-sided venues of the IPL 2026:
1. M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru
The venue served as the Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) home ground in the ongoing season, hosting five matches. However, toss played a decisive factor during most of the games at the stadium as four out of five matches were won by teams chasing.
2. Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi
The home ground of the Delhi Capitals (DC) hosted seven matches this season and even witnessed the historic highest successful run chase ever in IPL history as Punjab Kings (PBKS) overhauled DC’s humongous score of 264. Even the Arun Jaitley Stadium heavily favoured the teams batting second, as six out of seven games were won while chasing.
3. Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai
The historic Wankhede Stadium again served as home ground for the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI). The conditions at the venue change drastically during the evening fixtures as the second innings is often affected by dew. Out of the six evening matches played at the venue, four ended in favour of teams batting second as Wankhede continued to remain one of the toughest grounds to defend totals in India.
