The Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026) is in its final stages as the teams are fighting hard amongst themselves to seal their spots in the playoffs. The ongoing season has been lit up by several top performers, who raised their hands more often than not to bail their teams out of trouble.

While in other formats of the game, just runs and wickets are considered to determine top performers of a team, in T20 cricket, it’s the overall impact of one’s performance that matters the most. Here are the top three players with the highest impact per ball ratio in the ongoing season:

3. Finn Allen (2.64)

The Kolkata Knight Riders’ opener had a miserable beginning to the campaign, scoring just 110 runs in his first six innings. However, he’s turned his season around in the last four matches by first smashing a 47-ball century against Delhi Capitals and later scoring 93 off 35 against Gujarat Titans (GT). Allen has the third-highest impact per ball ratio this season of 2.64.

2. Mohsin Khan (2.66)

The left-arm seamer also had a brilliant season, having scalped 11 wickets from seven innings. His best performance of the tournament came against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), where he picked up his maiden five-wicket haul (5/23), which, albeit, ended in a losing cause. Khan has the second-best impact per ball ratio in the ongoing season of 2.66.

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (2.95)

The teenage batting sensation has been the most exciting talent to watch in the ongoing season. The 15-year-old has carried Rajasthan Royals’ batting lineup on his shoulders, being the leading run scorer for his team with 579 runs from 13 innings at an average of 44.53 and a strike rate of 236.32. Sooryavanshi has the best strike rate in the ongoing season among players who’ve scored a minimum of 15 runs. He also has the highest impact per ball ratio of 2.95.
