IPL 2026: Top 3 players with most sixes in death overs so far

The Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026) has been an exhibition of ruthless power-hitting by some of the top batters in the world. The ongoing season has witnessed over 1000 sixes already, and the number is only set to grow with the tournament heading towards the thrilling final stages.

While openers have done a commendable job for their teams, getting them off to blazing starts in their innings, the finishers have played an equally important role as well. The ongoing edition has already seen some of the best finishes by batters, taking their team over the line with their blistering cameos right at the end.

As the tournament continues to serve fans some brute hitting, here are three batters with the most sixes in death overs in IPL 2026:

3. Mukul Choudhary (10 sixes)

The 21-year-old became an overnight star after his finishing heroics against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Choudhary scored an unbeaten 54* (27) with the help of two fours and seven sixes to help his team chase down 182 on the final ball of the innings.

Ever since then, he’s continued to play crucial knocks lower down the order for Lucknow and has hit ten sixes in the death overs.

2. Donovan Ferreira (11 sixes)

The 27-year-old has played several important knocks for Rajasthan Royals (RR) with 233 runs to his name from eight innings. He scored a match-winning 52* (26), laced with six fours and three sixes against Punjab Kings (PBKS) to help RR chase down 223 with four balls to spare.

Out of Ferreira’s 16 sixes, 11 have come in the death overs, making him rank second on the list.

1. Tim David (12 sixes)

Tim David has been a vital cog in Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s batting line up this season, having scored 232 runs from ten innings at an average of 46.40 and a strike rate of 196.61. His best innings of the season came against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), where he scored an unbeaten 70* (25), smashing three fours and eight sixes to guide his team to a humongous total of 250/3 in their 20 overs. 

David has slammed 19 sixes in the season so far, out of which 12 have been clobbered in the death overs, which makes him take the top spot in the list.
