After a riveting and pulsating month-long cricketing action, Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru are set to collide in the summit clash of the Women's Premier League 2026 season.

Delhi Capitals are making their fourth consecutive appearance in the WPL final and know how it feels to suffer multiple heartbreaks. Their previous three final appearances had come under the leadership of Meg Lanning, and Jemimah Rodrigues is just one step away from going one better.

Rodrigues is riding the crest of a wave and has emerged as an inspiring leader. She has scored 207 runs in nine games at a strike rate of 138.92 and is the fourth leading run-getter for the side behind Shafali Verma (239), Laura Wolvaardt (273), and Lizelle Lee (283). All of Delhi's five wins this season have come while chasing, and therefore, they would like to chase yet again and utilize the dew to their advantage.

"I was trying way too hard. And the last two games, I just let go. I backed myself, didn't even go and practice because I was trying to hit every ball perfectly and get everything right. I remember one of the interviews I heard, it's like the butterfly, the more desperate you are, the more further it goes away. But the more you just let go, it comes and sits on your shoulder. And that's what I did," Rodrigues said about rediscovering her rhythm.

On the other hand, RCB have been extremely dominant, and Smriti Mandhana has been at the heart of their dominance. She has amassed 290 runs at an average of 48.33 and a strike rate of 141.46, including two half-centuries. She has already guided RCB to a title, and a repeat of 2024 will boost her leadership credentials for India.

RCB-W vs DC-W Head-to-Head Record

Both teams have played each other nine times in the WPL. While Delhi have won six of those encounters, RCB have emerged victorious in only three.
