As the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup gathers momentum and gallops towards the Super Eight stage, there is a bubble of intrigue among fans worldwide about who will ace the stern test and make it to the final four before advancing all the way to the ultimate showdown.
The ongoing group stage has thrown a wide range of mind-blowing results, with the two-time winners England losing to the West Indies by a comprehensive margin of 30 runs at Wankhede and Zimbabwe stunning Australia by 23 runs at the R Premadasa in Colombo.

However, despite the shocking outcomes, former England captain Eoin Morgan believes that the semifinal line-up won't spring any surprises.
"Four semifinalists for me are India, England, South Africa, and New Zealand," Morgan said during the latest episode of the Mr Cricket UAE Podcast.
Despite their loss, England are still favourites to finish second in the group standings behind the Windies. The Three Lions have aggregated four points at a net run rate (NRR) of -0.143.
New Zealand, too, whom Morgan picked as his fourth semifinalist, also had a blip on Saturday (February 14) as they were outplayed by South Africa by seven wickets in a Group D fixture at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

When asked to name-drop his finalists for the marquee tournament, Morgan picked the defending champions and the Harry Brook-led side.
"Here, my ideal final is India against England. If it's a belter of a wicket, for me, I'd probably just lean towards India at the moment," Morgan added.
England and India have played against each other in the semifinals of the previous two editions. India decimated England by 68 runs in the semifinal of the 2024 edition at the Providence Stadium in Guyana after a contrasting outcome in the 2022 edition, played in Australia.
Under the leadership of Jos Buttler, England had routed India by 10 wickets in the second semifinal of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022.
