Australia are set to tour Bangladesh for three ODIs and as many T20Is in June 2026. It will be the first time since 2011 that they will tour Bangladesh for an ODI series. As far as the T20Is are concerned, it will be just the second series for the Aussies in Bangladesh, as they earlier toured the country for five T20Is in 2021, where they lost 1-4.
The series will mark Australia’s first T20I assignment since their first-stage exit in the T20 World Cup 2026, played in India and Sri Lanka. The tour will start with the ODI series, beginning on June 9 in Dhaka, with the remaining two fixtures to be played on June 11 and 14 at the same venue.

According to ESPNCricinfo, the timing of the matches is yet to be finalised as they’re expected to be played in the day as part of the current energy saving measures in Bangladesh due to the West Asia crisis. Earlier, the timings for the ongoing New Zealand series were also changed to save energy.
The T20I series will begin on June 17 in Chattogram, with the remaining two fixtures to be played on June 19 and 21 at the same venue.
Before touring Bangladesh, Australia will also visit Pakistan for a three-match ODI series, which will clash with the ending stages of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026).
They also have an ODI series scheduled against Zimbabwe (away), South Africa (away) and England (home) later in 2026, as Australia begin their preparations for their title defence in the ODI World Cup 2027 in South Africa.
