Mohammed Siraj has been withdrawn from India's squads for the T20I series against Ireland and England as part of his workload management programme.
"Following discussions between the BCCI Medical Team and the Team Management, Siraj has been advised a period of rest as part of his workload management programme. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure adequate recovery ahead of a long international season," a press release from the BCCI read.
Right-arm seamer and Siraj's fellow fast-bowling partner at Gujarat Titans (GT) in the IPL, Prasidh Krishna, has been named as his replacement. Krishna was also part of India's playing XI against Afghanistan in the recent one-off Test at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh.

Siraj bowled the third-most number of overs (62.0) in the 19th edition of the Indian Premier League after Bhuvneshwar Kumar (63.0) and Kagiso Rabada (64.4 overs). He played all 17 games during the season for Gujarat Titans.
Siraj also bowled 13 overs during the recently concluded one-off Test against Afghanistan. Therefore, the move from the team management to rest him seems quite sensible.
India’s updated squad for Ireland and England T20Is:
Shreyas Iyer (C), Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson (WK), Ishan Kishan (WK), Shivam Dube, Tilak Varma (VC), Nitish Kumar Reddy, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Varun Chakaravarthy, Ravi Bishnoi, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, Prince Yadav, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Prasidh Krishna.
