Dwayne Bravo, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard honoured with stand at Queens Park Oval

Legendary West Indies cricketers Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine have got a stand named after them at the Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain. The trio have been honoured as Trinidad and Tobago's most prominent figures in T20 cricket.

The Trini Posse Stand has been renamed the Bravo, Pollard, Narine Stand and was unveiled on Monday, August 31 during Trinidad & Tobago's 64th Independence Day celebrations. The trio has made immense contributions in T20 cricket, as Kieron Pollard has 751 appearances to his name and scored 14,933 runs, along with 341 wickets.

Bravo scalped 631 wickets and scored 6970 runs in the 582 T20S played in his career. On the other hand, Narine recently became only the second bowler to take 650 T20 wickets and is the leading wicket-taker in Caribbean Premier League (CPL) history with 140 wickets from 131 innings.

Pollard and Narine playing for Trinbago Knight Riders

All three players are currently in Trinidad for CPL 2026 as Pollard and Narine are playing for Trinbago Knight Riders, while Bravo is part of the franchise's coaching staff.

Earlier, several sections at the Queens Park Oval were named after Trinidad & Tobago greats, including the Brian Lara Pavilion, the Deryck Murray Players' Gallery, the Jeffrey Stollmeyer Stand and the Learie Constantine Stand. Recently, TKR also retired Bravo's jersey No. 47, "in recognition of his extraordinary contribution to the team, the CPL and cricket in Trinidad & Tobago."
