Glenn Maxwell joins Hyderabad Kingsmen for PSL 2026

Australia's veteran allrounder and explosive batter Glenn Maxwell has joined Hyderabad Kingsmen for PSL 2026. This will be Maxwell's maiden stint in the Pakistan Super League after he decided not to register for the auction of the Indian Premier League 2026.

Maxwell is a massive boost for Kingsmen as the batting allrounder brings a wealth of T20 experience to the roster. He has played 503 T20s and aggregated 10986 runs at an average of 27.53 and a strike rate of 154.16. The right-hander also has eight centuries and 58 half-centuries in the shortest format of the game.

The 37-year-old also has remarkable stats in T20Is and was a part of the Aussie squad that lifted the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021 in the UAE. He has racked up 2897 runs in 130 T20Is at an average of 28.97 and a strike rate of 154.42, including five tons and 12 fifties. He holds the record for the most T20I hundreds by a player alongside India's former captain Rohit Sharma.
