Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) became the third team to successfully defend their Indian Premier League crown, beating Gujarat Titans (GT) by five wickets in the IPL 2026 final. Star batter Virat Kohli once again led the run chase for RCB, scoring an unbeaten 75* (42), smashing nine fours and three sixes to help them chase down the target of 156 in 18 overs.
There were several awards bestowed on individuals for their power-packed performances throughout the season, following RCB's second successive triumph. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi took home the Orange Cap award for finishing as the highest run scorer of the season with 776 runs from 16 innings.
The teenage batting sensation was showered with many honours, such as the emerging player of the season, striker of the season, and super sixes of the season, among others.
Meanwhile, Kagsio Rabada won the Purple Cap award for finishing as the highest wicket-taker of the season with 29 scalps from 17 innings. Here's the complete list of awards from the IPL 2026 final between RCB and GT:
