India batter Jemimah Rodrigues has declared herself fit after successfully recovering from the hamstring injury she sustained while representing Southern Brave in the Hundred in Cardiff on August 3. The high-grade tear had initially forced her to miss the Women's Asia Cup in the UAE and also denied her the opportunity to be part of India's gold medal-winning campaign at the subsequent Asian Games in Japan in September.

Rodrigues also missed India's home white-ball series against Zimbabwe. It was Smriti Mandhana's first series as India's full-time captain, and the hosts completed a dominant clean sweep, beating Zimbabwe 3-0 in both formats.

In an Instagram post, Rodrigues revealed that her "hamstring has been declared fit."

"After three months of rehab, now I can't wait to get going," she wrote in the caption.

Rodrigues is likely to be available for selection when India tour South Africa for a multi-format series in December. The highly anticipated tour will begin with a one-off Test at St George's Park in Gqeberha on December 9.

The red-ball contest will be followed by a three-match ODI series, which gets underway on December 16 at Boland Park in Paarl. The second and third ODIs will be played on December 19 and 22 at Newlands in Cape Town and Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein, respectively.

The tour will conclude with a three-match T20I series. The opening T20I will be played at Willowmoore Park in Benoni on December 26, while the second and third matches will be held at the NWC Oval in Potchefstroom on December 29 and 30, respectively.
