Star India batter KL Rahul and Delhi Capitals (DC) have put rumours of their fallout to rest through social media posts. There have been widespread reports about a possible fallout between DC and Rahul, with some even claiming that Rahul was considering switching teams ahead of the next season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

However, both DC and the team’s co-owner, Parth Jindal, put out posts praising Rahul, revealing that all is well between them. First, DC posted a video of Rahul speaking to fans, taking a dig at the rumours with the caption “Keep the noise coming.”

DC co-owner Parth Jindal also praised Rahul, calling him a clutch player who puts the team before his personal achievements.

“KL IS KLUTCH FOR @DelhiCapitals - one of the nicest guys i know and one who puts the team before himself always. We have unfinished business and will work hard together to make Delhi proud @IPL,” wrote Jindal on his X account.

Rahul's prolific IPL 2026

Rahul had a great IPL 2026 for DC, finishing as the team’s highest run-scorer. He accumulated 593 runs from 14 innings at an average of 45.61 and a strike rate of 174.41, with one hundred and five fifties. He played a breathtaking innings of 152* off 67 balls against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Match 35 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

The right-handed batter smashed 16 fours and nine sixes in his innings to help Delhi Capitals post their highest score in IPL history, 264/2. Rahul also became the first Indian batter to score 150-plus in IPL. However, his incredible innings ended in a losing cause as PBKS chased down the massive target in 18.5 overs, breaking their own record for the highest successful chase in the league’s history.

Meanwhile, Rahul last featured in the recent Test series against Sri Lanka, where he scored 135 runs from three innings, with a highest score of 82. He will likely play in the Ranji Trophy next, ahead of India’s tour to New Zealand.
