NZ vs IND: New Zealand's ODI squad for India series features 21 players

After their historic ODI series win in India earlier this year, the Blackcaps have announced a 21-player squad for the upcoming five-match ODI series at home. The series gets underway on November 4 at Eden Park in Auckland.

Several players will leave the squad following the third ODI and head to Wellington to begin preparations for the two-match Test series. The Tests, part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle, begin after a three-day gap following the fifth ODI, which ends on November 15 at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.

Tim Seifert, Lockie Ferguson, Rachin Ravindra and Finn Allen have all returned to New Zealand's ODI setup for the series. Allen and Ferguson are set for their first ODI appearances in three years, while Seifert last played a 50-over international against Pakistan in Mount Maunganui on April 5, 2025.

Meanwhile, Ravindra, who was ruled out of the T20I series with a freak shoulder injury, has been named in the squad and will be available for selection for the first three ODIs.

Zak Foulkes (hip flexor), Will O'Rourke (calf) and Ben Sears (ankle) were not considered for selection as they continue their recoveries from injury.
