Star India batter Rohit Sharma has taken a dig at chief selector Ajit Agarkar in the latest promo of his television show. Rohit is all set to make his television debut through his show titled ‘Family Full House with Rohit Sharma’ on Sony Entertainment Television.

In one of the promos of his show, Rohit Sharma was seen wearing a T-shirt with “Non Committal?” written on it. Notably, BCCI chief selector Ajit Agarkar had once famously said that both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are non-committal about the ODI World Cup 2027.

“Oh man, how much have you made me rehearse. I’m not used to this.  But I’m coming on 19th September to meet you. Family full house with Rohit Sharma,” said Rohit in the promo.

“Both Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma are non-committal about the 2027 World Cup. We have made it clear that if guys are free they should be playing domestic cricket. They have been doing for years, try and score runs. They are still leaders in the dressing room. The have been extremely successful in this format. This team has been picked for Australia, you don’t need to think too far,” the chief selector had said after announcing squad for the Australia tour in October 2025.

There have been widespread speculations around Rohit Sharma’s retirement ever since the England tour. Recently, even BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia also addressed the rumours.

“Rohit Sharma is playing superbly in all matches, so what more do you want? He scored 138 in the last match, so why is there speculation? I don’t give fodder to speculations,” Saikia told the media after the meeting.
