Sri Lanka are all set to tour West Indies for an all-format series, comprising three ODIs, as many T20Is and two Test matches, scheduled to be played in June and July 2026. The tour will commence on June 3 with the ODI series, followed by the T20I leg beginning on June 11, with both limited-overs series scheduled to be played at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica.
The ODI series will serve as a crucial preparation for the next year's World Cup in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia. On the other hand, the Test series will begin on June 25 at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua.

The visitors will also play a four-day warm-up fixture at Coolidge Cricket Ground, Antigua, to prepare themselves for red-ball cricket. Notably, both Test matches will be a part of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27.
Sri Lanka are currently placed fourth on the WTC standings with one win and a draw from two matches, having a points percentage of 66.67%. On the other hand, West Indies are reeling at the bottom, having lost seven out of their eight matches, with four points to their name from a drawn fixture.
The two teams last faced off in a bilateral limited-overs series in October 2024, where Sri Lanka emerged victorious by 2-1 in both ODIs and T20Is on home soil. The last Test series between the two nations was played back in November 2021 in Sri Lanka, where the hosts completed a dominant 2-0 victory.
Both sides were recently in action during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka, where both got knocked out in the Super Six stage. Sri Lanka's campaign ended with a five-run loss against Pakistan, while West Indies failed to qualify for the semi-finals after losing their last game against India.
