United Arab Emirates (UAE) continued their winning run in the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2026, beating Singapore by seven wickets in Match 16 on Sunday, September 6, at YSD-UKM Cricket Oval, Bangi. Batting first, Singapore were bundled out for 172 in 47.4 overs, with Muhammad Mohsin (4/34) and Aayan Afzal Khan (3/26) running through their batting lineup.
In reply, UAE comfortably chased down the target in 24.3 overs with Akshdeep Nath (58 off 62) and Harpreet Singh (54* off 52) scoring half-centuries. Earlier in the day, Singapore lost Suryansh Gulecha early in their innings, before Kabir Biren (29 off 60) and Riaan Naik (44 off 83) stabilised the innings with a 43-run stand for the second wicket.
However, Aayan Khan struck in back-to-back overs to leave Singapore reeling at 73/3 in 21 overs. Hari Kukreja (43 off 67) walked in at number five and held one end. After Riaan Naik was dismissed lbw by Sohaib Khan (2/8, 4 overs), Singapore batters fell like nine pins, leaving Kukreja stranded at the other end.
As a result, they were eventually dismissed for 172, losing the last seven wickets for 61 runs. In the second innings, Adeeb Usmani (7 off 4) was dismissed cheaply, falling prey to Harsh Venkataram. After the early dismissal, Tanish Suri (34 off 23) and Akshdeep Nath (58 off 62) got involved in a 56-run stand for the second wicket.

While Suri missed out on his fifty, getting dismissed for 34, Nath brought up his maiden half-century. He also had the support of captain Harpreet Singh (54* off 52), with the duo adding 80 runs for the third wicket. UAE eventually crossed the line in 24.3 overs, registering their third successive win of the tournament.
Following their comprehensive win, Aayan Afzal Khan was adjudged Player of the Match for his brilliant match-winning performance of 3/26 in ten overs.
