Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) clashed in Match 15 of the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2026 at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara on Saturday, January 24. DC won the toss and elected to field first.
The team made two changes - Chinelle Henry came in for Lucy Hamilton while Minnu Mani replaced Deeya Yadav who is ruled out of the tournament with a back injury. On the other hand, RCB went in with one change - Prema Rawat was replaced by Arundhati Reddy.

The left-right pair of Grace Harris and captain Smriti Mandhana provided RCB with a good start, but Marizanne Kapp broke the partnership by sending back Harris for 9(13). Georgia Voll (11 off 14) joined her skipper as RCB continued to progress at the same rate. Run-scoring at Kotambi has not been easy and the trend continued in this match as well.
Mandhana (38 off 34) perished while playing a slog sweep off Minnu Mani in the 10th over, leaving RCB at 62/2. The captain's wicket brought about a collapse as RCB kept losing wickets at regular intervals. No batter to come next, apart from Radha Yadav (18 off 17), got into double figures as RCB were bowled out off the last ball of the innings on 109.
For DC, nearly all the bowlers picked up wickets and contained runs. Kapp, with her figures of 4-0-17-3, turned out to be the best bowler.
The DC openers intended to win the match as soon as possible, but failed to register big scores courtesy Sayali Satghare. Laura Wolvaardt (42* off 38) and skipper Jemimah Rodrigues came together and stabilised the innings after the early blows. The duo batted sensibly to take DC closer to victory. The partnership lasted 49 balls for 52 runs before Rodrigues (24 off 26) was scalped by Radha.
Kapp (19* off 15) joined her compatriot and the pair accelerated to provide a comfortable victory to DC by seven wickets in the 16th over. For RCB, Satghare was the best bowler with figures of 2/18. Kapp, for her all-round display, won the Player of the Match award.
This was RCB's first loss of the season in their sixth match while DC registered their second consecutive victory and third overall in six attempts. They go from fourth to second on the points table while RCB maintain the top spot.
